Addressing the topic of gender equality, he emphasized that true respect for women starts with eliminating societal practices that alienate genders, such as segregating boys and girls in classrooms. He also highlighted the need for better infrastructure, criticizing poorly lit bus stands and unsafe public restrooms that compromise women’s safety. He stressed that only significant government investment in these areas can ensure a safer society where women can contribute fully to national development.
